Where to Keep Your Ficus

During the warmer summer months, your Ficus can also be placed outdoors in a warm, sheltered position. As a tropical tree, however, it should be brought back indoors before temperatures begin to drop.

Pets

Ficus bonsai aren't considered pet-friendly if eaten regularly . The plant contains a milky sap which can cause irritation and digestive upset in cats and dogs. While a small accidental nibble may not necessarily cause serious problems, pets should not be encouraged to chew or eat the plant, particularly in larger quantities. We recommend keeping your Ficus somewhere your pets are unlikely to reach it.
