Delivery information

At Somerset Bonsai Ltd, we take great care when packing and dispatching your order. We understand how important it is for your bonsai to arrive safely and promptly, so all orders are carefully packaged to help protect them during transit.

Delivery Service

We use Royal Mail First Class for our deliveries.

Once your order has been dispatched, we aim for it to be delivered within two working days. Please note that delivery times are estimates and occasional delays may occur that are outside of our control.

Delivery Charges

We offer FREE UK delivery on all orders over £50.

For orders under £50, our standard delivery charges are:

  • Dry goods under 2kg – £1.99
  • All bonsai orders and dry goods over 2kg – £3.99

The applicable delivery charge will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

All orders of £50 or more qualify for FREE UK delivery, including bonsai and dry goods.

Where We Deliver

We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only, including:

  • England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer international delivery at this time.

Live Bonsai Deliveries

As bonsai are living plants, every tree is carefully packaged before leaving us to help keep it secure and protected throughout its journey.

In certain circumstances, such as extreme weather conditions, we may choose to delay dispatch if we believe this is necessary to protect the health of your bonsai. If there is likely to be a significant delay, we will keep you informed.

Damaged Deliveries

Please check your order as soon as possible after it arrives.

If your bonsai or another item arrives damaged, faulty or significantly not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at info@somersetbonsai.com.

Please include photographs of the item and its packaging so we can assess the issue and help resolve it as quickly as possible.
