Position & light

Place your Syzygium bonsai in a bright position with plenty of natural light. A bright windowsill (no more than 3 hours direct sunlight through the hot months) or a position close to a window is ideal when keeping the tree indoors. Keep the tree away from very dry heat sources such as radiators and from strong cold draughts. We also don’t recommend kitchens or bathrooms due to constant temperatures changes.

During the warmer months, your Syzygium can also enjoy time outdoors in a bright, sheltered position. Protect it from intense midday summer sun, particularly if the tree has previously been kept indoors.

Syzygium prefers warmth and should be protected from cold temperatures and harsh frosts. If kept outside during summer, bring it into a suitable protected position before temperatures become too cold.

Watering
