Position & light
Loropetalum enjoys a bright position with plenty of natural light.
When kept outdoors, choose a sheltered position protected from harsh winds, extreme weather and prolonged severe frost. A position receiving good sunlight or partial shade is ideal.
Although Loropetalum can tolerate cooler conditions, remember that a bonsai's roots are more exposed to temperature changes because they are contained within a shallow pot. During particularly cold weather, additional protection for the tree and its root system is recommended.
Can I keep my Loropetalum indoors?
